Vikings Perform Well at Wartburg

Grand View men and women’s track & field both placed third the Henkenius Open hosted by Wartburg College. The meet was highlighted by Clay Cory (SR/Elkhart, Iowa) breaking the school record in the 400 meter dash, 50.25 seconds and Dimetrea Hamilton (FR/Des Moines, Iowa) meeting the NAIA “B” Standard national qualifying mak in the 60m hurdles, 9.17 seconds.  The men had three first place finishes and the women had two.
