Panthers Open Friday

The 2017-18 track and field season officially begins for Northern Iowa on Friday, as the Panthers travel to Ames for the Cyclone Duals.

Competition will begin at 4 p.m., both on the track and in the field. The meet will feature three teams, UNI, host Iowa State and Drake.

UNI will send 24 men and 23 women to Ames for Friday’s meet. The competition will be the first collegiate action for freshmen William Blaser, Dan Blocker, Connor Blough, Cameron Cantrall, Jojo Frost, Sven Van Den Bergh, Erica Loussaert, Hannah Schau and Dianna Slight.
