Representing the Loras track and field program, selected runners competed at the UW-Platteville Invitational on Thursday night. Headlining the evening was sophomore Audrey Miller, who won the women’s 5,000 with a six-second lead.

NOTABLE RESULTS

  • In the women’s 5,000, Loras placed all three of its runners in the top 30. Miller finished six seconds head of Wartburg’s Ashlyn Bagge at 17:00.52, one second off her PR, which she set at the 2017 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships. Senior Emily Day ran 17:54.22 for a personal best and moved into eighth all-time. Freshman Maeve Dunaway also ran a personal best at 18:13.52.
  • Juniors Mason Tope and Timothy Sevcik each ran PR’s to the tune of 14:52.34 and 14:58.05, respectively. Top moved from 10th to eight all-time and Sevcik took over 10th.
