The Loras track and field program continued it’s outdoor season on Saturday at the Wartburg Select with both the men’s and women’s teams finishing third.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
Women
Freshman Gabrielle Noland earned a fourth place finish in the women’s 100 with a time of 12.58.
In the women’s 200, junior Alyssa Simon posted a second place finish for the Duhawks after running 26.43.
Sophomore Allie Serres led the way in the women’s 800 placing third with a time of 2:20.37.
Loras earned a second place finish thanks to freshman Maeve Dunaway in the women’s 5,000 with her time of 18:37.00.
In the women’s 400 hurdles, senior Rachel Kilburg took third with a time of 1:07.71.
Loras ran a season best 49.33 en route to winning the women’s 4x100m relay with freshman Alexis Alt, Noland, senior Alexis Hanson and Simon.
Also earning points for Loras was sophomore Kemunto Ondande after running a 4:59.75 in the women’s 1,500 for a fourth place finish.
Sophomore Esther Johnson won the women’s javelin with a throw of 36.23m.

Men
In the men’s 5,000, junior Timothy Sevcik placed second with a time of 14.59.35 while freshman Patrick Wolak finished third with his time of 15:24.53

In the men’s 400 hurdles, junior Andrew O’Neill ran a 57.24 to earn a fourth place finish.
O’Neil ran 15.55 seconds in the men’s 110m hurdles to finish third overall followed by junior Gerrand Moody who recorded a 15.62 time for a fourth place finish.

In the men’s 3,000 steeplechase, Loras took second, third and fourth place, led by senior Ben Hedges (10:00.03), sophomore Jake Till (10:19.98) and junior Matt Gagen (10:30.36)
Senior Nathan Kimbrell earned a third place finish in the men’s 800 with a time of 1:55.04.

In the field, freshman Quintin Durov cleared 1.87m in the high jump to tie for second place.
Junior Hunter Dunlap cleared 4.25m in the pole vault to tie for first place.

Senior Andy Reed rounded out the Duhawk’s top performances with a second place finish in the javelin with a toss of 45.86m.

Loras cruised to a victory in the men’s 4x400m relay with a time of 3:17.96 from junior Kylian Lally, senior Brandon Gradoville, freshman Shamari Scott, and freshman Patrick Mikel.
