Catholic Championships!

Both Loras and Mt. Mercy took part in the 33rd running of the Catholic National Championships, held at the University of Notre Dame .  These Iowa schools, with many Iowa preps on their rosters, ran very well against competition from D-1, D-2, D-3 and NAIA divisions. Recap CLICK HERE!

Eli Horton-S.E. Polk-Central College, won the Dutch Invitational Saturday on the 6,000-meter course at the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex in a time of 19 minutes, 17 seconds. The USTFCCCA has released it’s first Regional Cross Country rankings.  Iowa schools are in the Central Region, where Wartburg women start as the #1 team. The New Division 1 Cross Country rankings are out and Washington, led by NCAA 1500 meter champion Katie Flood of Dowling Catholic is the number one ranked women’s team. Wartburg’s Enabnit – “Performer of the Week”

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa– Sophomore Alana Enabnit (Clear Lake) was named the Iowa Conference’s Top Women’s Cross Country Performer of the Week, the conference office announced today.  Enabnit won the Grinnell Les Duke Invitational on Sept. 8 with a time of 21 minutes, 29 seconds.
