A BIG weekend for Iowans participating in Cross Country National Championships!

Division I

  • Shelby Houlihan (SC East/Az State) leads all Iowans with her DI 8th place finish! Click Here! 
  • Anna Holdiman (Waverly Shell Rock) finishes season as Florida State’s # 6 runner.  Seminoles were 8th in DI with a very young team Click Here! 
  • All the Iowa State women did after last season was graduate NCAA Champion Betsy Saina and All American Meaghan Nelson (CR Xavier).  In 2013 the Cyclones had a new coach (Andrea Grove-McDonough) plus new faces and STILL won the Big 12, the Midwest Regional and had 2 All Americans in Terre Haute!  Mohamed Hrezi is an All American for ISU with his 24th place finish. Click Here! 
  • Katie Flood (Dowling Catholic/Washington) is knocked down and trampled only 800 meters into the race, but comes back to finish 84th after passing 150 runners, despite an ugly gash on her foot. Click Here!
